A Borrow-Books-From-This-Guy Lookshelf

Who/where are you?

Jack. New York City, Upper Upper East Side.

What do you do for work?

I'm a graphic designer by day and a blogger and writer by later in the day.

What do you do for fun?

Cook fancy food, read good books, various bloggery, tying girls up.

Tell me something about your bookshelf.

I used to have a ridiculous number of books, but I moved across country twice and have been pruning the collection over the years. These are my essentials. These days I get books from the library.

Tell me something about one of the books on your bookshelf.

I love David Foster Wallaces's (RIP) short story collection The Girl with Curious Hair, but for some reason I keep losing copies. I either let people borrow it and it is never returned or I just misplace it. I'm on my fifth copy.

Also, I have never finished Gravity's Rainbow, though I have tried about ten times.

I think this is one of my favourites, maybe because Jack and I share the same taste in books!
