#2. What do you do, for work and for fun?
I am a military search and rescue pilot who has been "posted" to Germany to fly AWACS. We just moved out of our house today in which we have lived for 7 years and moved into a golf resort/hotel where we will stay for a month before flying to Germany. Once there, we will stay in another hotel for another month. It is very odd having the life that you've created over 7 years loaded into a shipping container pursuing a career you never really wanted.
#3. Tell me something about one of the books on your shelf (or the shelf as a whole).
My bookshelf probably looks quite odd, but it was one of the first things I set upwhen we moved into the hotel. Books are very important to us - we have hundreds which were loaded today in to a shipping container, which we watched be driven down the street to meet us in about 2 months and 9 time zones away. It's an odd mix on my ad hoc bookshelf. I have military manuals, travel journals and flying records. I have also brought along a book called "TheWater In Between". It is about a Doctor who, for financial reasons, joined the military to pay for his degree. The book outlines his disgust with military and his desire to sail and get away.The book was given to me by a close friend and I am supposed to pass it along to someonewho would appreciate it when I am done done. I have read it twice already and don't want to pass it along.

SO pleased to see the DK Eyewitness Guide to Germany gracing the shelf. (I work for them, so vested interest :-)
This site started off pretty well only to be sold later by the owner. The new management which took over the site reset all the balances of the users. Although the new owners who go by the patek philippe replica James and Ultra tried their best to clear earlier dues and make payments on time, the site just couldn't pay up. Shortly, the forum was also closed.
