I don't have fun any more.

Something about my bookshelves:

It is woefully small, mostly because despite living in new york for a
year half of my life is still in florida, and another quarter is still
in the boxes I moved up with. Even still, I do not read that many
books or own that many books, despite the fact that this runs counter
to my friends' natures and expectations.

Tell me something about one of the books on your shelves...

I learned about the Epic of Gilgamesh after attending the first day of
a class at college on the book, which I subsequently and immediately
dropped. Nonetheless, I remembered enough about it to ask for it for
Christmas. It is an extremely old tale of a hypercompetitive and
egomaniacal king, who after the death of his best friend and rival,
fears death and obscurity and goes to great lengths to be super badass
so that he can live forever. He fails. I was reminded of the
existence of the tale after working at my current job for many months.
