A Recovery Lookshelf

1) Who are you and where are you?

Linda Borman from Scottsdale, AZ

2) What do you do for work?

Retired English teacher.

3) What do you do for fun?

Shop & Photoshop.

4) Tell me something about your bookshelves.

These are books for recovery from addictions - specifically the 12 step program often associated with alcoholism but used also for any addiction - drugs, overeating, not eating, etc. Also included are meditations and prayers and affirmations and even some humor!

5) Tell me something about ONE of the books on your shelf.

Alcoholics Anonymous - also known as "The Big Book" - the bible for alcoholics. Bill W. wrote this book in 1939 and it is amazing how relevant it still is. It educates about the disease of alcoholism and then reveals the step by step path to recovery.
