I'm a writer and epicurean beach house manager and I live alternately on West 110 St, and Kismet, Fire Island.

3) What do you do for fun? 4) Tell me something about your bookshelves. 5) Tell me something about ONE of the books on your shelf.
 
I think the particular shelf I chose to photograph best answers the other questions. This particular shelf is situated over my TV, between the kitchen and the living room. I can think of nights when a Chinese recipe, a new cocktail, and a new sexual position--that maybe requires referencing my original Boy Scout handbook for knot-tying info-- might all be necessary.
 
What's funny is that this shelf is completely organic. With the sole exception of my own book, Sharehouse Confidential... :)
