1) Upload your Lookshelf Picture.
The spines of MOST of the books must be readable in your pic, and you must shoot your shelves as they are. No editing or tidying! If your shelves contain romance novels and how-to-fix essays with sci-fi wedged in between, great. If you have candles or photos (or dust!) on your shelves, leave 'em there.
Your shot MUST be clearly titled with your first and last name. If it is not, I won't be able to post it! It should be a JPG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, or BMP smaller than 300kb, please.
2) Answer the Lookshelf Questions.
These shelves are a lot more fun too look at when you have some idea who owns them. Use our secure web form to answer these quick questions:
- Who/where are you? (You can be as open or anonymous as you'd like)
- What do you do for work?
- What do you do for fun?
- Tell me something about your bookshelf.
- Tell me something about one of the books on your bookshelf.
If you find yourself stuck on #4, just tell me how you organize your books. If you get stuck on #5, just count seven books in from the left side, and tell me where you got that book and whether or not you've read it.
